Russian Royalty, Eastern European folklore, mysticism and the exotica of South American rainforests. 'Tsaritsas' who would wear my clothing dare to step outside of reality into the mysterious sub-layer of this universe: they are queens, goddesses, sirens, archangels, heroines, nymphs and rockstars. The baroque-contemporary garments Akira Zosens produces are custom made, incorporating handmade details such as melted hemlines, scorched feathers and floral arrangements. Akira herself wishes to be educated in fashion and costume, eventually working full time under her own international label
